Skip, I know what you mean! I prefer the larger squares myself, unless I'm working on a baby afghan--which I am right now actually, with 5" squares. Sally http://www.crochetsal.com It's back! Club Pack Membership Paypal accepted

The afghan squares sound really interesting. I like the idea of a knit and crochet one. I prefer crochet because it's quicker but I do like to knit if it's small items so squares would be just the thing. I would enjoy trying both. I would prefer 8, 10 or 12" squares. 5 or 6" would requires so many. Skip
Judy and Skip..I can't tell from here, but I think when we did the weekly afghan squares back in 2002, was it, it was a success and got people to participate in this group. With my usual procrastination, I fell behind, but I caught up and did 2 a week, making one afghan to donate and one to keep. That was rewarding and it's an idea I think would be easy to implement again with the websites available and contributions from members...I still have lots of yarn! LOL. Maybe you could do a knitted square and crochet square each week to give people a choice..Linda H.
